Career Website For One Race Only
Careerbuilder has a career website, the address is www.blackcareers.com. I wonder how white liberals and black people would react if there was a website called www.whitecareers.com. Something tells me they would be in opposition, and rightfully so, discrimination is wrong.
There actually is such a site, it has the same top of the window title as blackcareers.com and it is under construction so it has no mention as whether it's from Careerbuilder or not.
There should be the same standard for everyone, and all discrimination is wrong.

Tragic
http://jta.org/news/article/2009/11/18/1009268/intel-proposes-non-jewish-sabbath-workers
Israel is losing its ability to protect the right of secular jews to work on Saturday if they want to.
Israel seems to be letting Israel's orthodox jews dictate to companies that they need to discriminate against jews who are not orthodox for one day per week and not let them work.
Halacha = Shariah.

Garnel Ironheart
Garnel (http://www.garnelironheart.blogspot.com/) is an orthodox rabbi who is secretly wishing he could be an atheist except that he is afraid of his wife. Luckly for Garnel, everyone's favorite internet rosh yeshiva, SJ, is also a family clinical psychologist. XD
After giving it much thought, Rosh Yeshiva Dr. SJ came to the following conclusions as to what Garnel should do to facilitate a smooth coming out of the atheist closet.
Garnel should take his wife to a fancy restaurant and order a hamburger. Then when they both get their food, Garnel should put some cheese on it and be like, "bitch, this is the way it's gonna be."
Garnel should be sure to have his right elbow touching the table with his hands unclenched and right arm and right hand pointing upward.
Then Garnel should proceed to tell Mrs. Garnel that he's an atheist. If she's cool about it, then Garnel should say "wooooooooooooooooord," and they should proceed to have their meal and then have sex when they get home.
If Mrs. Garnel proceeds to be a bitch, then Garnel should realize that the worst that will happen to him is that he will be single and free again. In which case, Garnel has several options to what he can say.
Option 1) "Fuck off bitch."
Option 2) "Bitch, I'm gone."
Option 3) "Asta la vista baby. Fucking bitch."
For extra emphasis, Garnel can add an extra "bitch" at the end.
Garnel, it is important to realize that you do have the strength to stand up to your wife and say the truth of the matter. You can do it!

There is a very good reason why gays can't marry- they can't have their own kids.

Haredim Mechalal Shabbat During Protest For Shabbat & Haredim Ignore Dina DiMalchut Dina & Haredim Desecrate Synagogue
(quick vocab: dina dimalchut dina = law of the land, mechalal shabbat = in violation of sabbath)
Click Here for news article -> http://failedmessiah.typepad.com/failed_messiahcom/2009/11/haredim-broke-into-synagogue-at-intel-threw-prayerbooks-to-the-floor-and-used-shtenders-to-break-down-doors-123.html
From the article: "Meanwhile, The Jerusalem Post learned that the riots on Shabbat had been far worse than originally reported, and that in addition to the rocks and epithets hurled at journalists and other bystanders, haredim had broken into a synagogue on Intel's premises, thrown prayer books to the floor and used prayer stands to bash in the doors."
It's been a while since my yeshiva days, but breaking and entering has to be a violation of some kind of malacha. (malacha = action not allowed on sabbath). Don't tell me that it's not.
Since breaking and entering is a violation of Shabbat, it begs the question, is the haredi rioting about religious piety, or about wanting control?

I'm not an expert, but I'm not sure how international terrorists can be held in civilian prisons or civilian courts in an effective manner. I could be wrong, but it would seem that civilian authorities and trial people could be threatened more easily than military personnel.

Also read this from the Associated Press.
- Silly orthodox jews asked Intel to discriminate against jews on saturday.
- Orthodox protesters physically assaulted journalists.
- Orthodox protests could cause Intel to leave Israel and cause Israel to lose jobs in one of Israel's best industries.
- Dozens of orthodox protesters were arrested. Israel's orthodox jews don't seem to be as well behaved as America's orthodox Jews.

Intel's Got Balls
http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3804620,00.html
Retarded haredim aka the jewish taliban are planning to do shabbat protests against the Intel (that's right, the computer company) Har Hotzvim complex in Jerusalem.
Unlike other aspects of Israeli society, like the damn bus lines, Intel is standing up to the jewish taliban and the company set up a barbed wire fence around their perimeter. XD
Hopefully Intel teaches the haredim a lesson that they'll never forget. XD

10 Failed Doomsday Prophecies
In reference to 2012. http://www.livescience.com/strangenews/091104-doomsday-predictions.html
My Blog Has Evolved
Thoughts of a Secular Jew started out as a blog to bash orthodox judaism because meandering in it and out of it proved to be a bad experience. When someone from the secular world gets mixed in with the orthodox jews, it can induce a kind of multi personality disorder because orthodox judaism teaches that God is against lots of things that in the secular world would be ok.
The secular jew is then left with three choices
- either to live with multiple personalities and have an occassional cheeseburger while going to shul and doing some religious stuff; and live with the conflicting views.
- to give up freedoms completely and become orthodox.
- come to the ultimate conclusion that it's all bull shit and walk away entirely.
A while back, I picked choice 3. I am indeed an atheist. I don't believe in God, though I also do believe that it's impossible to know for sure until you die. I also believe that I'm not a bad person so I got nothing to worry about when it comes. I don't believe that God is going to throw people into the pit for cheeseburgers, pork, or computer games on Saturday.
Eventually I started blogging on political stuff since I am secular; and conservative in American politics, and my blog isn't just going to be orthodox bashing anymore even though once in a while there will be a post for it.
So I took down the Galileo quote from the masthead of my blog, “I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use.”
Orthodox Judaism demands the foregoing of their use, and is an industry like any other. Rabbis take the money of the faithful, and do ok economically, and volah, prayers get answered. When the prayers of the faithful don't get answered, then it's "you have to wait," or "you can't test God" or "it's not part of the plan," or "you need to do teshuva." It's a scam.
I've done lots of orthodox bashing in the past and will continue to do so in the future, but also in the future, I am going to be apart of the debate on political issues as well as I have already been in recent weeks.

Funny how the Democrats don't got the balls to call their health care reform: socialist health insurance. Instead they call it the "public option." Nancy Pelosi calls it the "consumer option." If anything the Democrats should stop calling themselves Democrats because they were against Bush spreading democracy to Iraq.

Response to Avian30 on Failed Messiah Blog Comments Section
Before reading my rebuttal please please please read Avian30's counterpoints to my points on health care over here on Failed Messiah. The link will appear on a new window.
The only reason why I am responding on my blog and not on Failed Messiah is because Failed Messiah seems to be having technical problems (which happened before) and my comment isn't going through.
Ordinarilly I would respond on the blog where the debate is taking place.
Now for my response:
>> This will effectively abolish regulation of the health insurance industry, which is probably why Republicans like it. But it would also be quite wasteful and harmful.
This is nonsense. Federal regulations will exist.
>> If for-profit health insurance companies cannot provide any useful function to consumers that justifies their profits, then they are useless to society and we should all rejoice when the goverment puts them out of business. And if they do provide a useful function to consumers that the government cannot provide that justifies their profits, then it's hard to understand why they would have difficulty competing.
If there is a sector of patients that are too small for private insurance to handle then sure the government should step in. This already happens with pharmaceuticals. It does not mean that the government should compete with private insurance with stuff that private insurance is able to handle.
>> If you do some research on health care systems in other countries, you will see that health insurance (and arguably health care in general) is another area where government is far more efficient than private companies. You can start with this Commonwealth Fund study.
I'm not reading all that crap. Make the points yourself dude. Sometimes I link to other pages to make my point but not stuff that's soooooo long to read. That being said, private companies are always more efficient than government. Obama himself said it best when he said that UPS and FedEX are doin fine and it's always the post office that's having problems. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LS12Z-MJpvw
>> No, the only way to get into a public plan would be through the health insurance exchange. And if your employer is eligible to participate in the exchange, the decision of which plan you choose will be your decision alone. Your employer will not be permitted to choose for you.
This is the first time I heard baout "Health Insurance Exchange" because noone seems to talk about it. After googling it, it appears that Health Insurance Exchanges aren't magic button to solve everything. http://voices.washingtonpost.com/ezra-klein/2009/06/health_insurance_exchanges_the.html
>> How so? Anyway, many states already ban discriminating based on pre-existing conditions, including New Jersey and New York. It is called community rating. But it is not really sufficient without mandates and subsidies.
Genius, just because it's done in some places does not mean it's not constitutionally grey.
>> I don't think anyone has studied this more comprehensively than the CBO. And the CBO found that some tort reform proposals typically made by Republicans seem to reduce health care spending a little, while others seem to increase spending a little. It is perfectly reasonable to support some tort reform proposals, but it is not reasonable to use this as an excuse to oppose any legislation that does not include them.
More stuff that takes too long to read. -.- And there's people who disagree. http://www.politicsdaily.com/2009/10/12/tort-reform-could-save-health-care-54-billion-says-cbo/ http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/07/30/AR2009073002816.html http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/10/12/tort-reform-could-save-54-million-report-says/
>> The moral argument for this is that when you end up in the emergency room with no health insurance and incur a $200,000 bill that you are unable to pay, it is not fair for that burden to fall on the rest of society. The economic argument (which I find more persuasive) is that a health insurance system with community rating and guaranteed issue but no mandates leads to high premiums at best, and collapses from instability at worst.
You can argue until you are blue in the face. It is wrong to make people pay for existing and making people pay for health insurance is too much like that. I have a link on my blog that says Nancy Pelosi wants people to go to jail if they don't pay for health insurance. That's crazy.
>> Private insurance companies can do this already on the individual market.
It's different when the government regulates and when private companies offer products with terms and conditions.
>> No, the recent bills cost the federal goverment around $800 billion to $1 trillion or so over a 10 year period to expand coverage. To put this in context, economists project total health care spending in the US will be around $40 trillion over the next 10 years.
To say that this kind of spending will not worsen inflation is silly. The Democrat's health care plan is not the plan of a Clinton Democrat. At least Clinton Democrats valued balancing the budget, even though these putzes did it on the back of the military.
>> And further, after cost-cutting and taxes, the recent bills reduce deficits rather than add to them. It is hard to imagine how this could cause inflation, even if we get out of this economic crisis within the next 10 years. (As a consequence of the economic crisis, we are currently suffering from deflation. Some inflation would be nice.)
Will cost-cutting mean quality-cutting? O.o Also, i'd like to paraphrase Ann Coulter a bit, 'Riiiiiiiiiiiiight. Adding 40 million uninsured Americans to government health insurance will not increase the debt. And I want my 40 million layered chocolate fudge cake that does not put on weight.'

Maine got rid of a law that would allow gay marriage: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33609492/ns/politics-more_politics/?GT1=43001
That guy Waratteru from the private Haven not Heaven blog must be fuming. XD Waratteru, who is of that "lifestyle" said that he wants gay marriage legalized without ifs ands or butts. I don't know how Waratteru can be gay without butts, and it isn't my problem. XD Or did Waratteru use 1 t? I don't remember. lol
The Republicans took New Jersey and Virginia. XD That ass "moderate Republican" from New York's 23rd district, Dierdre Scozzafava, did not seem to support a single Republican or conservative issue. Even though the Conservative candidate Doug Hoffman didn't win he came close and it was an accomplishment for him to be a third party candidate going neck and neck with a Democrat like that.
