About Original Sin

I don't get how people say that there is no original sin in Judaism. The eating of the forbidden fruit is thee original sin sooo .... seems to be a semantics thing.

I don't like the new format.

As for original sin, the difference is that Xianity holds that every human is born with that sin and cannot be redeemed except through JC. Jews believe a person is born pure, taints himself with sin and has the personal power to redeem himself.

I like the new format that's what matters. It's like a combination of New York Times / Drudge Report. XD

Now back to the issue, it seems to be the case that Adam eating the fruit is what brought death into the world. (Gen. 2:17)

Secondly as an aside, orthodox judaism believes that the jews are still suffering punishment from the golden calf incident (it wasn't dished out all at once.) I do remember some stuff from my yeshiva days waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day. XD

No see why it's awesome, you got Obama's declining poll numbers right on top, news on the political issues relevant to everyone to the left of it, the US national debt to the right of it so people can see how serious it is.

my format is awesome. XD
