In http://failedmessiah.typepad.com/failed_messiahcom/2011/03/is-a-picture-worth-a-thousand-words-234.html, Failed Messiah puts up a picture of some dough that was left out at a hareidi bakery.
All the commenters on there as well as Shmarya are trying to implicate that the bakery has the blue thing on there to protect the dough but from the looks of it I doubt the bakery intended the dough for public consumption. As backward as the haredim are sometimes, they can't be thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat off the wall, the haredim run restaurants and bakeries too.
Even if Shmarya's suggestion "But the dough [with pigeons on it] rose more than expected (or too much dough was put in the container to begin with, and it rose to overflowing, displacing the bench." is in fact the case, it is impossible to prove that the bakery ownership/management would sell the resulting products to the public. Sick customers are bad for business. Even haredim know that.
Anyways, the Failed Messiah blog devolved from the only major free speech debate site in the jewish world, into a leftist cesspool.
