On this thanksgiving day eve, I would like to write on two things I am most thankful for, my job, and my ability to think for myself. I do not know where I would be without my job, without being able to make REAL progress in life, and I do not know where I would be without my capacity to ask questions and disagree if necessary.
Prayer and the study of religious texts does not improve one's life, getting paid does. Further, my ability to think for myself is something that I will cede to none (that means including you orthodox out there).
