Marvel Comics Disgrace

In leftist pandering to minorities, Marvel has turned Spiderman from a white guy into a black-latino kid in an alternate universe.

Look by all means, market to minorities as well as white people. Anyone you can find out there. However, it's wrong to change the race of an established superhero in the culture because well first of all it is what it is and also the minorities themselves wouldn't appreciate it. How much you wanna bet blacks wouldn't appreciate turning John Stewart (Green Lantern, DC Comics) or Bishop (Marvel Comics) into white people?

In the libtard universe, white men are passive, geeky and feminine, while white women and minority men are masculine. Thankfully MMA counters the libtard faggotization of white men in American society.

Really the way it should be is that all men and women should be strong and knowledgeable, and the men should be masculine and the women should be feminine.

Also, to add further insult to the character of Peter Parker and Spiderman, the Affirmative-Action-Spider could also be gay. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2021563/Marvel-Comics-reveal-new-Spider-Man-black-gay-future.html

Ultimately, Marvel is in fact being racist and patronizing because it is tacitly suggesting that all black and latino superheroes suck and that they need to borrow a few from white people.

I think you're making too big a deal out of this and I'm usually the guy that hates anyone messing with established super heroes.
According to the article, Peter Parker is dead. This kid is replacing him as the new Spiderman just like Dick Grayson replaced Bruce Wayne as Batman when the latter died.
And his ethnic background isn't such a stretch. Back in the 1950's and 60's all superheroes were white and either from rich or middle class backgrounds. Even then Spiderman was the big exception because he was poor.
Relax and wait to see where they go with this.

the point is they don't do this with black heroes because blacks would be vocal about objecting.

spiderman is peter parker. period.

Two more points:
1) This is part of the "Ultimate" line. Marvel introduced that line to serve as an alternative universe which would allow them to restart various long-running comics but take the characters in different directions that they couldn't because of established history in the main Marvel Universe. Peter Parker, Spiderman, is currently a member of the Fantastic Four in the main Marvel universe so you can relax.

2) You're right about the double standard. Several years ago a group put on a production of Hamlet in Toronto where the lead was played by a black woman. Her defense was that Hamlet is a character so as long as she reflects the angst, rage, etc reflected in the original play then she is being Hamlet. So she was asked if someone were to put on a play about Martin Luther King and cast a white woman in the part, would she mind? And of course she would!

There are plenty of things to dislike about the Ultimate universe-- Ultimates 3, for starters.

But if you're getting bent out of shape about the new black spider-man, you & the other "racist Marvel!" crowd probably should have been paying attention earlier.

Ultimate Marvel started in 2001. And this is what their Nick Fury has looked like for the last ten years.
