Is the OTD blog era done?

I'm not too much of an OTD blogger anymore I'll throw in my contra orhodox piece once in a while but not like a few years ago.

Failed Messiah don't do too much OTD stuff it's just a leftist rag now.

Kvetcher is long gone.

The OTD stuff these days is just people saying their bad experiences, which does play an important role in countering the kiruv perception that orthodoxy is one big paradise.

Noone is like really actively anti-kiruv anymore and actively trying to make orthodox judaism lose numbers. Maybe the orthodox are being somewhat less abrasive these days. I don't know.

Could it be that everything that someone like Shilton Hasechel is saying is stuff that's already been said?

Or it could be that OTD blogging has changed into OTD private facebooking. I'm not even like in the OTD stage anymore I went my own totally separate direction. Oh well.

1) Blogging ain't what it used to be. More people are networking ahd sharing on Facebook where they can control who sees and reads what.
2) There is very little original in any OTD blog. If the person isn't venting about their lousy upbringing or high school rebbe then he's claiming all the stuff about the DH someone showed him last week proves the Torah isn't true, etc. After a while it gets repetitive and they move on.

By the way judging from the Undercover Kofer blog, Jeff from the kvetcher blog seems to be a big deal these days. Jeff is shall we say, not well endowed. XD
