What Beck does not understand is that in Europe political parties have youth movements in order to cultivate future leaders. Being in the Labour party isn't just about politics but about a worldview in general. As a result it makes perfect sense to have a summer camp for your youth wing like most religious groups have for their own.
Ok fair enough. I guess in the USA politics camp is unheard of.
There are ideological camps here.
It's fairly common to have religious camps.
There are also camps affiliated with different Zionist movements. I went to some of them, so it seems normal to me.
But it's not like the Republicans or Democrats have their own camp system, or the Liberals or Conservatives up here.
