Steve, Al Jazeera certainly has its biases. But when it comes to reporting hard news accurately they're better than almost anyone out there. Sad but true.

On the other hand his basic point is true.
Remember when Time Magazine ran the fake report on how the American army used Agent Orange on civilians intentionally in Viet-nam?
Or CBS ran the fake story on how Bush II was a draft dodger and even when caught Dan Rather said he would still have run the story because it fight his image of W?
Look at the level of demonisation that Sarah Palin is subjected to as opposed to equally idiotic Dick Cheney.
The scale may be worse for Al jazeera but the methods are pretty much the same.
Palin talks too much she wore out her brand but Cheney is no idiot. Terrorists thought that Cheney was a real dick. Terrorists don't think that Obama is a dick even after OBL was killed and that's a problem.
