Garnel wants to teach and practice modern orthodoxy - but as soon as you come out against Chereidi stringencies, you are immediately considered "not Jewish" by the in-crowd. The difference between me and Garnel is he still wants to have his cake and eat it, too. He wants to say he's for modern orthodoxy yet be accepted by the in-crowd.
